About this class
Day 1: 3h // Day 2: 2h Minimum number of participants: 3 people // maximum 4. If a class has fewer than 3 participants, we will contact you to arrange a new date.
What you’ll do in the class
On the first day, you will learn how to prepare the clay, center it, draw walls and how to give it a shape. You will have enough time to try it out for yourself and get a feel for it. Bowls, cups, mugs, etc. are made, for example. The next day is about turning so that your pieces have a nice base, the shape is emphasized, a handle or some decorations. Afterwards, we will take loving care of your pieces. We fire them (1st firing - bisque firing), glaze them and fire them again (2nd firing - glaze firing).
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to start their pottery journey and forget about the stress of everyday life. Over the course of 2 days, we will give you a comprehensive introduction to throwing and turning on the potter's wheel. You will create around 2-4 pieces - each at their own pace.
