About this class
Treat yourself to a few relaxing, creative hours and discover the art of macrame. In my mobile workshop in Rostock and the surrounding area, you will design decorative macrame projects such as lanterns, macrame loops or bunting — gladly according to the group's individual wishes.
I'll show you the most important knotting techniques step by step so that even beginners can quickly achieve nice results. I bring all materials with me, you don't need any previous knowledge. In a cozy atmosphere, your very personal unique item is created, which you can proudly take home with you at the end — perfect as a decoration or handmade gift.
What you’ll do in the class
- Brief introduction to macrame & various knotting techniques
- Learning the basic nodes together using a small exercise project (e.g. key fob)
- Select your main project: macrame lantern, macrame loop or bunting (individual wishes possible by arrangement)
- Step-by-step instructions as well as personal tips and support throughout the workshop
- Relaxed, creative atmosphere with lots of fun and space to exchange ideas
