About this Tour
Experience Munich's artistic diversity with this mix of Art Nouveau city tour and creative street art workshop. Together with Philipp, architect and official guide, you will discover Schwabing's floral facades and the stories behind Kandinsky and Klee. The special thing: After the tour, you become active yourself. In a heated shipping container, you spray four of your own postcards using stencil technology, inspired by the ornaments you have seen before. A creative experience that makes architectural history tangible.
Steps of the tour
Starting point: We meet at Georgenstraße 7 in Schwabing.
Architecture walk: Philipp shows you exclusive Art Nouveau jewels and explains their special features.
Bohemian stories: You'll learn exciting things about the artistic period in historic Munich.
Change of location: Joint short subway ride to contemporary railroad guard Thiel.
Workshop: Introduction to stencil technology and how to use spray cans.
Creative session: You design four of your own postcards as a personal souvenir.
