On June 21, we celebrate the summer solstice and World Yoga Day in the historic forester's lodge on the edge of the castle garden with 108 sun greetings, yin yoga and breathwork.

The longest day of the year. Light, warmth, space. The summer solstice invites you to consciously pause and celebrate what is alive. In the sheltered setting of the forester's lodge on Ahaweg, a space for movement, breath, silence and inner orientation is being created on this special afternoon — supported by the energy of summer and the special atmosphere of the campus.

What to bring to the class

Please wear comfortable yoga/gym clothes. If you want, bring your own mat, a towel, or something to drink. Since we might be outside too, think of sun protection/something to put on.

What is included in the class?

At be yogi Campus & Retreat, everything is prepared for you: We provide you with all yoga tools such as mats, blocks, straps, blankets and meditation cushions. Drinks and small snacks are also available. Of course, there is also enough time for your questions and an exchange of ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. You can simply arrive and enjoy.

What you’ll do in the class

We start together with a powerful practice of 108 sun salutations — meditative, connecting and carried by the rhythm of breath. From this dynamic energy, Barbara takes you step by step into a quieter yin practice that creates space to let go, explore and integrate. The end is a deep final relaxation with a dream trip that gently calms body and mind.

Another focus of the retreat is an extensive pranayama session with meditation elements. You will experience how conscious breathing can influence your nervous system, clear your mind and give you new energy.

When the weather is nice, parts of the retreat take place outside in the park in the shade of old trees — surrounded by nature, bird sounds and sunlight. The small group (maximum 8 participants) creates a personal, protected framework and space for individual experience.

Who is the class suitable for?

If you want to consciously experience World Yoga Day and give yourself time for yourself on the summer solstice, this retreat will help you recharge your batteries and find peace of mind. If you value dynamic practice as well as deep relaxation and are curious to combine breath, meditation and movement more intensively, you will find a special space of experience here. A certain amount of yoga experience is helpful so that you can move safely by saluting the sun — breaks are possible at any time.
