About this class
The body often lasts more than we consciously realize. Only when it gets quieter do you feel what has accumulated. This monthly special creates a safe space where you can release pressure, let go and get back to yourself — calmly, mindfully and at your own pace.
What you’ll do in the class
In this lesson, you will learn the body-based self-help method TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises). At the beginning, Barbara gives you an understandable insight into the background of the method and current findings relating to stress and the nervous system. You then practice a series of gentle movements that can stimulate so-called neurogenic trembling — a natural ability of the body to unload and regulate itself.
You practice mindfully and decide for yourself at any time how far you go. The small group with a maximum of eight participants enables individual support and creates a secure framework. The forester's lodge on the edge of the Hardtwald gives the hour its special retreat character: peace, nature and time to really explore. After the practice — if you like — there is room for a quiet exchange over a cup of tea.
Who is the class suitable for?
If you are often under stress, inner restlessness or physical tension and want a gentle, body-oriented approach, this format helps you to consciously regulate your nervous system. If you feel that your body is carrying a lot or you want to learn how to deal better with stress, TRE offers you clear yet easy access. No previous experience is necessary — just a willingness to listen to your body and engage in the experience.
