About this class
In many moments on stage, it takes very little to make a big impact on the audience: a raised eyebrow, a silent hug, a shy retreat. In this stage course, we explore the possibilities of playing speechless and playing with full physical effort.
In this course, you'll learn how to get even more into your body, and how stories gain strength on stage when relationships between characters are more clearly expressed through the body. We also train powerful and fast actions, practice stage fighting with fists and swords, and try out special effects from films such as Matrix.

What you’ll do in the class
The course consists of 8 units and starts with exercises on body awareness and non-verbal communication, followed by intensive training in powerful playing, stage combat and special effects. Participants experiment with gestures and movements to tell emotional stories. In the course of the course, they develop creative scenes, which are presented again in a varied exhibition of works (5h) with musical accompaniment especially for the course. This performance provides a platform to show what you have learned in front of an audience and to celebrate the fascination of playing speechless.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for all adults who already have basic acting experience and want to develop their physical expression and non-verbal communication skills.
