This intensive barista course in Hamburg offers you the perfect opportunity to dive deep into the world of coffee. In a small group of a maximum of six people, you will not only gain in-depth knowledge about espresso and milk drinks, but can also practice extensively on the portafilter machine. From perfect grinding to latte art to machine care — here you'll get everything you need for the perfect coffee experience!
What you’ll do in the class
- Introduction to espresso extraction (temperature, pressure, degree of grinding, quantity, brewing time)
- Tasting and analysis of aromas, acids, oils and bitters
- Brewing ratios: Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo
- Milk frothing techniques for various consistencies
- Preparation of classic coffee specialties (flat white, cappuccino, etc.)
- Latte type: heart casting technology
- Intensive practice time on the machine
- Coffee machine care and cleaning
- Time for individual questions
- At least 3 hours of course time
