Overall, the barista course was good. There is an informative theory section and a practical section. Unfortunately, there were 17 participants and only one portafilter machine, so there was little practice in the practical part. Each person was allowed to make 1x espresso and 1x cappuccino. That could be improved. The framework conditions were great: Friendly barista, good coffee and delicious cake. Vegan options available. All in all, recommended especially for beginners.

The course was great for beginners in the world of portafilters. I can only recommend it! The course instructor taught all topics related to all practical and theoretical topics in a very entertaining and humorous way.

The course was fun and also very interesting! A great deal of theoretical knowledge was taught that you would never have dealt with as a “layman” (e.g. the importance of water hardness in a coffee). In addition to the theoretical, everyone was allowed to whip up the espresso machine and espresso themselves or try some latte art. IF there was anything to improve at all: since the number of participants is sometimes higher, several machines would also be nice where you can work in parallel! Recommended! Great line!
