The wet-on-wet technique is one of the most beautiful techniques in watercolor painting. This technique creates flowing and colorful patterns and experimental images on moist paper. The technology requires no previous knowledge. It is intuitive and offers many opportunities to try yourself out creatively.
What you’ll do in the class
After a short round of introductions, there is an introduction to the wet-on-wet technique in watercolor painting. In the meantime, we soak the paper in water and pat it dry slightly before painting on it with the watercolor. You have enough time for free design and questions about technology. The fascinating thing about wet-on-wet technology is the processes that are created in the process and have a very special painterly quality. As an aid to researching technology and getting to know the basics of painting, we offer small exercises. Otherwise: Trying is better than studying - the main thing is that you enjoy the color!
Finally, there is a brief joint review of the resulting works.
