About this class
Our acrylic painting workshop in Weinheim invites you to get to know the expressive and diverse world of acrylic paints. The course offers space for creative work, free experimentation and conscious artistic processes — completely without pressure to perform or rigid guidelines.
In an open and inspiring atmosphere, you will discover the special properties of acrylic painting: bright colors, quick drying times, different structures and a wide range of design options. Together, we work on color mixing, composition and the use of various tools such as brushes or spatulas.
Step by step, you will be guided through the creative process and encouraged to implement your own ideas and find your personal expression. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as advanced learners who are looking for new ideas.
The aim of the course is to experience the joy of painting, to leave everyday life behind and to experience acrylic painting as a powerful, creative medium.
What you’ll do in the class
Expiration:
1. Arrive & choose the theme (approx. 15 minutes)
— Welcome & introduction
— You choose from several templates or bring your own idea
2. Preliminary drawing & composition (approx. 20 minutes)
— We transfer the rough contours to canvas format
— Explanation of image structure & color selection
3rd painting phase with acrylic paints (approx. 90 minutes)
— step-by-step instructions: from background to details
— individual support with technology & implementation
— there are short breaks in between
4. Finishing & finishing (approx. 20-30 minutes)
— Final details, corrections, highlights
— admiring the works together
