Who we are and what drives us

We are an association based in Berlin that has set itself the goal of making mindfulness, creativity and holistic education suitable for everyday use. We are united by the conviction that personal development does not have to be unique or complicated, but can be anchored in everyday life through practical experience.

Our work combines elements from various wisdom traditions, creative forms of expression and modern health prevention. We are always concerned with the person as a whole — body, mind and creativity belong together for us.

We offer professional courses and events in the areas of creativity, personal development, nutrition, health and mindful living. Many of us originally come from completely different professions and have discovered our passion through our own practice and experience. It is precisely this down-to-earth attitude that shapes our courses: well-founded, lively and approachable.

About our team

Anna

Anna has a background in bridal fashion design but has been painting breathtaking frescoes and paintings for large commercial or private buildings for many years. She is also an art therapist and runs many non-profit groups for adults and children through and through painting. In Anna's courses, you'll learn very simple painting techniques that quickly make your creations look great - and at the same time, you'll reduce stress or dive deep into a topic about yourself.

Axel

Axel is a dentist by nature. One of the best! As one of the few dentists, however, he sees himself as a doctor who also takes care of his patients' entire digestive tract. This is wonderfully combined with his passion as a chef for large Italian cuisine. In his courses, you will learn how to prepare terribly delicious healthy food. His portfolio ranges from fermented foods and drinks to the correct preparation of pasta and pizza.

Bryn

Bryn is a Dipl. Adult educator and certified yoga teacher. She used to dance Latin American dances in formation at the German level - today she primarily teaches women about meaningful lifestyles, happy couples and bio-hacking through various techniques. Bryn runs our club. At Bryn, you will learn, especially as a working woman, how to fully shape your own life and improve one or the other point for yourself.

Uwe

Uwe is a doctor of naturopathy, nutrition and phytotherapy. With 40 years of practical and teaching experience, he is a true addition to the team. He teaches us self-care (in medicine, nutrition, gardening, healthy living), health prevention and herbal medicine. Look forward to seeing a funny Swabian owl in the middle of Berlin.

Chloe

Chloe is a naturopath and has been teaching various forms of yoga, Ayurveda, Kashmir Shaivism and especially wisdom traditions for 30 years. Her enthusiasm lies in the development of the people she has met over the years and has been able to accompany her. She likes to paint and is proof that you can achieve great results even if you can't really paint. With Chloe, you learn to awaken your soul and love yourself.

 

Location

Our courses and events take place on our premises at the Maha Yoga Center in Berlin Mitte. This includes a shop with a large, professionally equipped kitchen as well as 4 yoga rooms and a practice for holistic body therapy and naturopathy.

When the weather is nice, we also use our courtyard or go outside, for example on herbal hikes. In total, we have several hundred square meters of differently equipped rooms at our disposal — from quiet yoga rooms and creative spaces to professional and garden kitchens. Depending on the format, our locations can accommodate groups ranging from small, intimate groups to larger groups.

 

What makes our courses and events special

Our courses are lovingly, lively and professionally structured at the same time. It is important to us that learning is not instructive, but comes from experience. That is why we always focus on the people who are sitting in front of us right now.

As a result, each course develops its own dynamic — even topics that we have been teaching for many years remain fresh and individual. Whether painting, cooking, movement or mindfulness: Our participants learn something concrete and at the same time take with them new impulses for their everyday lives.
