My name is Simon Funck, I was born in 1995 and come from Hauenstein in the beautiful Palatinate Forest. I work full-time as a master butcher at a small organic farm, where I take care of my own slaughtering, sausage production and stable work. Since 2019, I have been showing interested laypeople how they can produce and prepare sausages and meat specialties themselves with little effort. In a relaxed atmosphere, I'll show you the steps you need to do this and I'll also be happy to chat about animal husbandry, stories and traditions from the butcher shop and why a good sausage should contain two drops of sweat.
