Get to know Tischlein Deck Dich e.V.
I am KiKoMo, which is the abbreviation for children's cookmobile. I only exist once like this in the world, in Karlsruhe. I have a kitchen with a large cooking island, housed in a tinyhouse made of solid wood, insulated with sheep's wool and built especially for us according to our ideas. With me, you will learn in a very practical way the connection between good nutrition, sustainability and enjoyment.
I see myself as an experimental laboratory: pedagogically supported, it covers seasonal, regional food as well as solar energy, energy consumption, water consumption, climate protection while eating and good social interaction.
With me, you can experience how easy it is to cook something delicious that is good for you and the environment.
When I'm not working at a school, a daycare center or a youth center, you can visit me here in beautiful Hardtwald in Karlsruhe. My workshops can accommodate up to 10 children or 10 people large and small. Children and young people aged 6 to 14 can cook with me.
