Get to know Tina Mona Cohen Contemporary Art
My name is Tina Mona Cohen, I am a self-taught professional artist originally from France, currently based in Germany.
If you're new to my work, allow me to introduce myself and share why painting is such a fundamental part of who I am.
For me, the canvas is more than just a surface—it's a gateway to self-expression and exploration.
Painting became a therapeutic practice akin to meditation. Recognizing the profound joy painting brought me, I made the resolute decision to make it my life's work and to become a full time artist. Despite working full-time in Germany, I dedicated my nights and free time to paint. My goal was to develop an authentic style and gain the confidence to share my creations with the world. The birth of my daughter in 2021 fueled my determination to be a role model, showing her the importance of pursuing her´s dreams.
In 2022, I held my first exhibition as a full-time artist in Paris, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Getting so positive feedback motivated me to continue.
I opened my own art gallery in the heart of Paris in 2023 in the prestigious adress, just next to the arc de triomphe and the Champs Elysée.
In 2024, I expanded my offerings to include high-quality art prints and canvas prints alongside my original artwork, ensuring each piece meets my stringent quality standards.
Additionally, I now offer abstract painting workshops to help others to express themselves through art. Combining art therapy techniques, painting exercises, and creative expression, these workshops encourage participants to explore the depths of abstract art and unleash their unique artistic voices.
The location
The workshops take place at Café Lama, a cozy and stylish café located in Berlin-Wilmersdorf (Hohenzollerndamm 7, 10717 Berlin). It’s a warm and welcoming space with great coffee and delicious treats. We meet in a quiet room at the back of the café, perfect for creative flow and meaningful connections. The group is limited to 8 participants to keep a friendly and personal atmosphere.
Courses and events
My abstract painting workshops are open to everyone—no prior experience needed! What makes them special is the combination of creativity, mindfulness, and community. I use elements of art therapy and intuitive painting to guide participants into a flow state where they can let go of expectations and simply enjoy the act of creating. All materials are included, and each participant gets to take home a finished piece of art on canvas.
Team events and private events
Yes, I offer private events such as team-building sessions, birthdays, or bachelorette parties. These workshops are a unique opportunity for groups to connect, relax, and share a joyful creative moment together. I tailor the experience to the group’s needs and make sure everyone feels encouraged and inspired, regardless of their artistic background.
