STUDIO JUMI book classes

STUDIO JUMI, consists of Julia Buntzel and Miriam Rose Gronwald — a Berlin-based artist duo working at the interface of art, craft and design. As trained handweavers and a degree in visual and performing arts, the young duo translates traditional hand weaving into the language of contemporary art. Inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy, they combine functionality and aesthetics, knowledge and sustainability in their handwoven works.

Her professionally equipped weaving studio is located in a modern garden house in Berlin-Wedding and has several looms, some of which are almost a century old. Here, Julia and Miriam offer practice-oriented web courses for up to 6 people on a monthly basis. Your weaving courses lasting one or several days are suitable for anyone who would like to learn how to weave on a real loom.

For team events for up to 15 people, it is possible to book courses on small ribbon weaving frames. The 70 square meter studio with kitchen, bathroom, large dining table and garden offers a relaxed and spacious space for groups, especially in summer.
