About me — The mission
My name is Stan Bert Singer. I received my artistic education at TU Wien as part of my architecture studies. Today I work as a professional figurative painter and a member of the International Guild of Realism (IGOR). My work has received several international awards, including the Luxemburg Art Prize. My mission is to translate the almost forgotten techniques of the Renaissance — in particular silver pen and old master oil painting — into the present day and to pass on this knowledge to demanding participants.

The location — The studio
The courses take place in my private studio in 1190 Vienna (Döbling). It is a place of peace and concentration, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The studio is fully equipped with high-quality materials and can accommodate small groups of up to 6 people. This exclusive setting enables individual support at the highest professional level.

What makes my courses special
In my master classes, the focus is on real craftsmanship. We are concerned with the “incorruptibility of the line” and the classic layering of oil painting. I impart in-depth technical knowledge based on over 25 years of experience. My participants not only learn to paint, but also to capture proportions, light and shadow with the precision of a painter] architect. It is a profound experience for anyone who wants to go beyond the usual entertainment formats.
