The course itself was really nice and the course instructor Sofija was very nice and provided us with drinks/snacks. The instructions for designing the candles were great and the candles turned out really nice too.
We were a very large group (18 people) and that was clearly far too much. It should have been said honestly that the course is not possible with this number of participants. The space at the table and the individual scents were very limited, so there were long waiting times and some things were simply “empty” and could no longer be used. That was a bit of a shame.
However, I would highly recommend the course for a small group of up to 10 people.

Great crafternoon with soap/bodyoil for home
I just signed up yesterday and took part today. Apart from me, there were 3 others at the workshop and Sofia was very flexible as we had booked different things. I could make a body oil or shower oil instead of exfoliating. In the end, each had 2 products to take away, which not only look great, but also smell great and have nourishing ingredients. Would book another afternoon at any time and can only recommend Sofia - tea/coffee/cookies/music was also provided. Very cozy and homely atmosphere 😍👌

I took part in the candle workshop with a friend and it was just super nice! With essential oils and soy wax, we were able to design our own candles — including cute wax molds on top. Relaxing music was playing, there was tea, fruit, cookies and the organizer was incredibly welcoming. A loving, creative atmosphere — highly recommended!

I really enjoyed making scented candles with Sofia. I booked this event for me and my friend who was visiting me, to share a fun activity together and have something cute to take home. It turned out a lot of fun! The Ambience was warm and cozy, with tea, tasty snacks and good conversation. Sofia was very sweet, responsive and accommodating. I had booked last minute and had to modify my booking twice because of flight changes, but Sofia was very understanding and made this process very simple.

I booked the course for my girlfriend's birthday. She has already dealt with candles privately and so it was the perfect gift for you! Sofia can speak several languages and is super organized. A perfect course for beginners! All our questions were answered and we were able to learn a lot about them and learn something new. I recommend this to everyone, as it is a family environment at Sofija's home and she really works hard with a wide range of utensils.

I learned so much during Sofia's course and now feel confident about making soap at home! I love that she provides a workbook and instructions printed out so you can remember everything for the future and you get a soap mold to take home with you (and of course your soap as well)! Everything was super organized and professional, but also a ton of fun. She's very knowledgeable and passionate about soapmaking, so she pays a lot of attention to details. I can highly recommend this course!

I am Sofia, originally from Latvia-Riga, and I am passionate about making candles, soaps and skincare products. Over the years, I've developed my expertise through professional education and dedicated research.
What I enjoy the most is getting in touch with people from all over the world and sharing the creative process with them.
