Get to know PowerBreathWork
My journey through the world of healing methods began over 30 years ago and took me through various continents and practices such as shamanic rituals, yoga, Tibetan Buddhism, Zen meditations, hypnosis training, regular sweat lodge rituals, my naturopath studies, forest bathing and holotropic breathing, to name just a few.
During these diverse experiences, I have repeatedly come across powerful breathing techniques that have inspired me to focus more intensively and specifically on active breathwork for several years. I received this inspiration, among others, from the Dutchman Wim Hof, also known as “Iceman”, who has made a significant contribution to rediscovering the potential of breathing for our time. I completed a course with him and deepened my knowledge in courses and seminars with other inspiring teachers such as Scott Schwenk and Jon-Paul Crimi, James Nestor.
For several years now, I have been integrating more and more special active breathing techniques into my practice work — and the results are just as impressive for me as they are for my patients. Conscious breathing and targeted techniques have proven to be of great help, particularly in coping with stress, anxiety, inner emotional and physical tension, restlessness, grief, depressive moods, difficulty concentrating, sleep disorders, disorientation, “burn-out” and states of exhaustion.
