Oh wow, that was so nice! I made two very nice soaps and lots of little dinosaurs and the course instructor always supported us and also encouraged us to be creative. The course was a fun mix of English, German and a bit of Spanish. I felt very comfortable there, with the other participants and especially the course instructor, and I am already looking forward to picking up my finished soaps in six weeks.

Get to know Marmol

Hi, I’m Araceli, but everyone calls me Ari. I was born in Chile, a land surrounded by mountains, desert and the sea.

Mármol began in 2021, after having my first daughter and in the middle of the pandemic. It started as a hobby, a small moment just for myself. Over time, it grew into something deeper: a way to express art, reconnect with my creativity, and share a piece of Chile with the world.

The name Mármol comes from the Catedrales de Mármol in Chilean Patagonia. They reflect patience, strength, and grace, values I bring into every creation. Each soap, each illustration, each design is crafted with intention, purpose, and love. Nothing is accidental.

But my journey hasn’t been linear. From moving to Hamburg in 2019, to becoming a mother during the pandemic, to moments of doubt and deep reflection, every challenge shaped the way Mármol exists today. It taught me that timing matters and that everything happens when it’s meant to, and the truest creations come from patience, love, and clarity.

At Mármol, I create handmade soaps, host creative workshops, and team events with the mission to promote wellness, presence and intentional living.

Mármol is more than soaps, it is my way of bringing Chile closer. It’s my way of sharing identity, culture, and the slow, soulful rhythm of life. Every soap, every detail carries a fragment of my home and an invitation for you to reconnect with yourself.
