Itsching since yesterday

Hello! I am a Yiqing — pronounced Itsching — product designer with a focus on accessories and jewelry as well as a freelance artist with heart and hand. My passion for design began early and developed into my profession and vocation over many years. In my studio, I live in creative processes, experiment with materials and discover new forms of expression over and over again. With my workshops, I want to inspire people to become creative themselves, combining joy, intuition and craftsmanship.

My studio is located in the heart of Düsseldorf and is a lovingly furnished place full of materials, tools and small treasures. It is a creative retreat where art and design meet. The room can accommodate up to 10 people — enough to create together in a small, relaxed group and exchange ideas.

My workshops are not only inspiring in terms of craftsmanship, but also sensual and intuitive. The terrazzo workshop in particular invites you to get creative without previous knowledge, experiment with colors and shapes and create your very own objects. The participants experience how special pieces are created from everyday materials — sustainably, personally and with great pleasure in the process.

Whether it's a hen party, a birthday party or a team event — my workshops create a relaxed, creative atmosphere in which exchange and community are paramount. Anyone can join in, no previous knowledge is required. Creating together unites and makes for unforgettable moments — and a homemade keepsake is on top of that!
