I really enjoyed taking this course with lovely Monika. I was able to discover the wonderful material glass. Monika taught me the basics of glass bead art patiently and enthusiastically. In the end, a few pearls were created that I was able to take home with me. The three hours have flown by! I'm really looking forward to more courses because it just really fascinated me!

My husband and I spent a wonderful Saturday morning in Monika's workshop making a few special glass beads. With her calm, heartfelt manner, she explained a lot to us about glass beads and showed us some nice techniques. In between, we had a lot of fun making and trying things out ourselves. The morning really flew by. Thank you very much, dear Monika, for this wonderful experience.

Course for two, with my adult daughter - the supervision provided by Monika was extremely exclusive. We have been able to see and learn a lot in a short period of time and it is a pleasure to combine and experiment with the many shades in glass. The small workshop in particular provides the peace and quiet to be creative. Thank you very much!

Get to know GlasKunst & SchmuckDesign

I was born in Austria and have found a second home in Würzburg. I have been living here for more than 15 years and work as a passionate designer, artist and artisan in my own workshop in Margetshöchheim.

My artistic education in Austria (graphic design, crafts with a focus on glass, art studies), Italy (Murano) and Turkey (Istanbul) influenced me and produced my very own signature.

I love the level of detail in my creative work, because what often goes unnoticed in the speed of everyday life can only be discovered by taking a closer look. It's the same with my handmade glass beads. “For me, every pearl is like a small cosmos. ”

A fascination that sparked once and never let go of me.
