I was very lucky that my creative work was always very supported both by my family, at school and during my studies — food for my soul and inner balance.
Whether it's black and white drawings, nude painting, acrylic painting, wood and stone carving, sculpting with clay or concrete, I've tried a lot and learned a lot. Now finally after working as an architect, I can give my passion space and time.
In my studio on Lake Starnberg, I work on my own works, partly for customers with a specific assignment, or on my own, with a focus on flora and fauna. For me, nature is a homecoming.
Painting for mental health:
When I first heard about expressive painting in 2006, I didn't know what to expect. The first course with Laurence Fotheringham touched me deeply and piqued my curiosity.
Would you like to try it out too? Would you like to have a whole new experience through painting?
Everyone, regardless of age, can discover their own stories and feelings while painting — without previous knowledge or pressure to succeed. Everything is allowed! We value polarity — one cannot exist without the other. The result is images from within that are not evaluated and can be changed at any time. I accompany you mindfully and respectfully.
As a trained printout painter, I offer courses for adults and children aged 6 to 10 years. In the expressive painting studio, we take time to escape from everyday life and follow intuition. In a protected space, participants paint with high-quality paints, brushes, hands or spatulas (children paint with brushes). I support them in experimenting in a playful way. The image develops step by step, often changing until it feels right.
Laurence Fotheringham called it “Trust the process.” Try it out — it's a wonderful experience.
My studio in Pöcking in the district of Starnberg offers ideal conditions for expressive painting with adults and children, but also for painting courses in small groups. It is excellently equipped and offers the necessary peace and quiet for painting. The group size should not exceed 6 people, preferably only 4 people when painting.
Mental health courses are rarely offered in the Munich area, although they are more important than ever, especially in this fast-moving time. Here, my course participants can recharge their batteries, feel within themselves and learn a lot about themselves. This is also possible with children! The feedback from my course participants confirms this.
All courses can also be booked as private events or for smaller corporate events. Here, participants receive 1:4 to a maximum of 1:6 support. For longer appointments (e.g. 5 hours on Saturdays), a small snack is also served.
