„The trend is clearly heading toward minimalism — fewer ingredients, but the highest quality,“ says Dariusz Kulakowski, bartender and owner of “Die Eule” in Berlin. „We're seeing increasingly refined techniques like clarification and juice reconstitution — inspired by molecular gastronomy.“ Other trends according to the bartender, who has worked in several cocktail bars:

  • The drink of the year: „Tommy's Margarita“ — tequila, lime juice, agave syrup — simple but refined.
  • The overrated drink: „Limoncello Spritz.“ Too sweet, too boring — unless you use a high-quality sparkling wine.
  • Mixology meets sustainability: lemon peels as an egg-white substitute, pickled citrus fruits for new flavors — creative bartenders are cutting down on waste with zero-waste techniques.

Cocktail classes aren't just for professionals anymore — they're the perfect experience for afterwork events, dates, or team building. According to the Bacardi Cocktail Trends Report 2025, interest in high-quality, craft-made drinks is growing worldwide. At the same time, more and more consumers are looking for experiences that go beyond the classic bar visit**. konfetti saw a marked rise in cocktail class bookings in 2024*** — another sign that more and more people want to get hands-on with the shaker themselves.
