What you’ll do in the class
• Welcome to the historic distillery and brief introduction to whisky history and culture.
• Presentation of the various aroma profiles: from gently malty to complex smoky.
• Guided tasting of 6 selected German whiskies — accompanied by sensors.
• Discover aromas and learn to smell & taste correctly (including tasting techniques).
• Discussion with the distillery team about production, barrel aging and regional characteristics.
• Enjoyment of water and a regional farmer's snack for neutral accompaniment between rehearsals.
