About this class
Experience the fascinating world of hand weaving in the professionally equipped Jumi Studio in the heart of Berlin-Wedding. In this two-day workshop, you will design and weave your own set of two napkins. From the first color inspiration to the finished product, you will produce your handwoven individual pieces directly on the loom under professional guidance.
What you’ll do in the class
- Day 1: Design & Start (10:00 — 16:30) We start by designing your individual color palette and choose from various weaving patterns. Then it goes straight to the loom and you start with your first napkin.
- Day 2: Weaving rhythm & finish (10:00 — 16:00) The second day is all about weaving. You dive into the meditative rhythm of the loom and further develop your skills. In the afternoon, we remove the loom from the loom and clean the seams together.
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is suitable for every level, whether with or without previous knowledge, we will introduce you to the craft step by step. The small number of groups allows us to pick you up individually and the two days give you time to get to know weaving better.
