At the upcycling workshop in Esslingen, you bring old pieces of clothing and transform them into unique fashion items under expert guidance. Designer Nico — a trained men's tailor and internationally experienced fashion stylist — accompanies you step by step: from the creative idea to the cut adjustment to the finished piece of clothing. You will learn how to use industrial sewing machines, overlock and special machines, get tips on the choice of materials and design, and discover how to make a new statement from second-hand. The workshop is practical, inspiring and promotes sustainable thinking through creative recycling — ideal for anyone who loves fashion and wants to do something for the environment.

- Welcome to Studio SalOn 2.0
- Introduction round and collection of ideas
- Introduction to upcycling methods (dismantling, sewing, combining)
- use of industrial sewing machine, overlock, special machines
- Support from designer Nico every step of the way
- Optional: you can bring your own sewing machine
- Selection of complementary second-hand textiles on site
- Design, customize, complete your unique piece
- Final discussion & photo documentation of your works
