What is „Tufting“?

How to get your design ready
- After booking, send your design to us
- We'll give you tips on how to prepare it for tufting
- Send your design 48 hours before the workshop
- Keep your design simple, without too many small or thin details. We'll send you guidelines with tips after booking

- Courses start in April, situated in the gorgeous Winsviertel, Prenzlauer Berg

- Right by the M4 and M10, 15-minute walk from the Ringbahn (Greifswalder Bahnhof)
What you’ll do in the class
1) Learn tufting basics
We'll begin with an in-depth introduction to tufting. Our expert instructor will guide you through using an AK-1 or AK-V electric tufting gun safely. You'll learn essential techniques step-by-step and will have a chance to safely try before you start on your design.
2) Choose from over 50 yarn colours
Our gorgeous yarn wall is waiting for you! We'll help you pick a winning colour combination to bring your masterpiece to life.
3) Start tufting!
Get into the creative zone with your 40 × 30cm design. We'll be there to guide you throughout.
4) Satisfying shaving
Give your rug a final shave
Pick it up or have it delivered
Pick up your glued and finished rug two weeks after your workshop date or have it delivered for a small fee. Perfect if you're just visiting Berlin!
Who is the class suitable for?
Tufting is approachable and accessible! We've taught people from teens to 70+ and the joy is infectious!
Tufting is great for:
- Group activities
- Friends
- A romantic date
- A gift for mom, dad, brother, sister or friends!
- Come by yourself and enjoy some creative "me-time" or make friends.
Tufting machines are quite heavy and so we only recommend it for 14+ teens (with supervision) and adults.
