About this class
Craft personalized soaps from scratch in Hamburg. Choose your favorite colors, scents, and toppings in an intimate small group setting.
Workshop Details:
You'll learn the ancient “Cold Process” technique. By the end of the session, you'll have crafted 4 soaps from scratch (90grs each), 2 exfoliating and 2 moisturizing. You'll gain the basic knowledge to start making your own soaps at home.
Ingredients We Use:
We use natural and vegan ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and additives like oatmeal. We also work with caustic soda, which is responsible for creating a solid bar of soap.
Location:
Henriettenweg 4, 20259 (Kokosmädchen). The entrance is through the main door of the building. Please ring the bell labeled “Kokosmädchen”.

- To work with different oils, butters and Lye
- To understand “trace” in soap batter
- To make exfoliating and moisturizing artisanal soaps
- To add fragrance and color to your soaps
- To decorate and customize your soaps with dried flowers
- To understand the whole soap making process from oils to a solid bar of soap
What you'll get:
- 90mins. of time for yourself
- 4 soaps made by you (90grs. each), 2 exfoliating and 2 moisturizing.
- Free election of fragrances, toppings and colors for your soap.
- A intimate group of people (4 people) in a cozy environment
- At the end of the saponification process you will receive your soaps in a box.
