About this experience
In this workshop, you can try out casting porcelain and make your own tableware set.
There are a variety of different shapes and colored porcelain dimensions available to you and you decide for yourself whether you want to make cups, bowls, plates, vases or a complete set.
Experiments are being carried out with white, dyed and marbled porcelain so that you can individualize your homemade tableware and make it unique. We explain the theoretical principles of porcelain and all important steps in the process.
The cast objects are then glazed and fired and can be picked up after two weeks at the latest.
How does this experience take place?
After an introduction to porcelain casting, a selection of different cups, mugs and bowl shapes are available with which you can cast your own tableware. We pour in three rounds, the first time with white porcelain mass, then with coloured and finally we can experiment. The pieces are only glazed and fired after the course without the participants.
Who is it suitable for
Suitable for all beginners, porcelain enthusiasts and people with left hands who want to learn a ceramic technique with which you can quickly and easily produce a thin-walled and fairly perfect vessel.
