Very nice place to be able to implement your sewing projects with great support ☺️ Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced user, you will get the help you need. I was able to do so much in one evening 😍 Since industrial sewing machines are also available, we were able to adjust my suede coat that was too big, I repaired a T-shirt and made real progress with my somewhat complicated sewing project - sewing jeans with a high waistband. We laughed a lot too — it was a great evening. I will be back regularly!

Extremely good beginner course with Sarah! I took a beginners' sewing course with Sarah at Limomade. Before that, I had no experience in sewing and sat at a sewing machine for the first time. We were a small group of five participants, and Sarah first gave us a very understandable introduction to the Brother machines. Everything was explained step by step, and we were then able to try out the individual work steps ourselves. It was soon time to get on with the actual projects: a fabric basket and a bag with a snap fastener. The colorful Ikea fabrics were absolutely sufficient to get you started. In addition to operating the machine, Sarah also taught us a lot about fabrics, sewing patterns, ironing and other basics — really an all-round package for beginners. In the end, we were even allowed to stay 15 minutes longer so that everyone went home with finished projects. Sarah is a great teacher: patient, attentive, and very organized. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was plenty of time to ask questions. As a comparison, I attended another beginners' course (5 hours) in another workshop in my neighborhood a few weeks later. However, there were no beginners' machines there, only industrial machines — for me as a beginner, this was a real hurdle. Unfortunately, the supervision was not optimal, as the course instructor preferred to continue working on her own blouse in between. Out of three participants, two were unable to complete their zipper bags in time. In addition, it was pointed out 20 minutes before the end of the course that we should stop slowly. Although the fabrics there were of very high quality, they had to be paid extra. So I finally went home with an unfinished piece and only finished it the next day. With my own Brother machine, things went much better right away — precisely because I can adjust the sewing speed there, for example, which in my opinion is very important for beginners. Thanks Sarah!

Pleasant atmosphere, a good pace of learning, explaining and working. You can always ask questions without feeling stupid. Simply a great experience and a very good opportunity to get a taste of sewing air even as an absolute beginner. The next course is already booked! :)
