About this class
Here you can weave not just one, but two charming coasters for your favorite cups! In this workshop, you will learn the basics of weaving on a weaving frame: from stringing the frame to removing the loom, we will show you all the important steps — no previous experience required! The art of weaving combines craftsmanship, creativity and technology — a combination that is fascinating and relaxing. The color of the yarn is up to you, according to your taste. In the end, you will not only have your own mini rugs in your hands, which can be used right away at home, but you will also have gained valuable knowledge with which you can make other woven pieces as you wish in your free time.
What you’ll do in the class
You will learn the basics of weaving on a weaving frame - we will show you all the important steps, from stringing the frame to removing the finished woven piece. Our experienced instructions enable you to learn the weaving technique quickly and get into a real weaving flow. We will weave the fascinating herringbone pattern and all necessary materials have already been prepared for you and your friends.
Who is the class suitable for?
Our weaving mini workshop is aimed at anyone who enjoys creative design. You don't need any previous knowledge, as we explain the technology in an understandable way. Grab up to three friends and dive into the world of weaving. We welcome beginners and advanced players alike.
