About this class
Paint your personal version of Joaquim Mir's motif simply with artistic guidance in a relaxed atmosphere and with friendly fellow participants! Learning about painting techniques is done by the way according to the motto: learning by doing :-)
What you’ll do in the class
After a short introduction to art history in which I introduce the relatively unknown painter Joaquim Mir and his art, I will show you step by step how to conjure up the motif on the canvas and am always available if you have any questions. You can choose your own color combination. Engage in a creative exchange with other participants and relax as you dive into the realm of colors and shapes. In between, we take a break with coffee and cake.
We paint with acrylic paints on a 40 x 40 cm canvas. The paints are non-toxic and dry quickly. So you can take your work of art home right away at the end.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop offers something for beginners and advanced users. As a beginner, you can get a taste of landscape painting and learn simple techniques for depicting vegetation and perspectives. Advanced students can contribute their skills to the workshop and try out other painting techniques at the same time.
We paint in small groups of at least 2 to a maximum of 8 participants.
