About this class

Painting class with self-made acrylic paints in an artist's studio
Discover your creative side in our painting course and slow down from everyday stress. Embark on a relaxing journey with your imagination, colors and brushes.

The large, light-filled artist studio in Berlin offers the perfect setting for a small group of max. 7 participants. Here you have time to unleash your creativity on your own canvas and take a deep breath.

We have set up a plateau for you with flowers, vases, plants and/or still lifes. At the easel, you can draw warmly on A3 paper with charcoal sticks and follow your instincts.

I'll show you a technique to train and let go of your intuition and hand-eye coordination. Through this exercise, you let go of fears of doing something wrong. The activation of the right hemisphere of the brain is stimulated, your intuition is strengthened and the emotional world of your inner child is opened.

Since you can also use this technique in everyday life, you will learn how to restore inner peace and balance and how to use it even after the course.

There is nothing wrong with the course, everything is unique because you are unique.

With self-made acrylic paints, which I have prepared and filled for you, we move on to painting on canvas together.

Here I also go into the colors and color mixtures and can guide and support you if you wish. It can be a realistic image or abstract - there are no limits here.

You can freely implement your individual projects and ideas during the course. We try to support you and bring you to inner peace with a system.

Please bring old clothes or an apron so you can really get started. And of course lots of joy and fun.

Book now and get started - we look forward to seeing you!

Participants: 3-7

Suitable for: beginners and advanced users

--- Our studio dog is there
from time to time, a very lovely golden retriever lady:)

What you’ll do in the class

  • After being greeted in front of the entrance and the main entrance door, we take the lift together to the studio floor on the 4th floor.
  • Since you can only enter the building with a transponder, we ask you to arrive punctually.
  • After a brief introduction, in this painting course, we focus on the essentials and train hand-eye coordination with fun and ease.
  • In this way, the thoughts and fears of doing something wrong are resolved, your intuition is strengthened and this is where the joy of your individuality and creativity can begin.
  • We have alternately built still lifes for you. You can use these as inspiration or bring along an image that you would like to paint. Here we try to provide you with individual support.
  • There is nothing wrong with the course, everything is unique because you are unique.
  • With self-made acrylic paints, which I have prepared and filled for you, we move on to painting on canvas together.

Develop an eye for the essentials and capture the composition with targeted lines/brushstrokes

On request: glaze, which involves applying heavily thinned layers of paint over dried surfaces to create depth, new shades and luminosity.

Wash: Diluted paint applications (acrylic paint diluted with water) create soft, flowing color gradients, shadows and depth as color pigments run with water on the canvas and mix gently.

Mixed form: A combination of drawing and painting, in which the transparency of the paint application allows the background to shine through. Repeated application or dilution creates shading to create volume, similar to glazing but often more wet and flowing. (wet-on-wet technique)

These techniques can be combined with charcoal inking.
