What you’ll do in the class
- 🚪 Arrive: After being greeted in front of the main entrance door, we take the lift together to the studio floor on the 4th floor. Since you can only enter the building with a transponder, we urge you to arrive punctually.
- 💡 Introduction: After a short introduction, you will get an insight into beading and adhesive construction techniques.
- 👐 Design & pottery: We test the techniques and make your individual Boobie mug.
- 🎨 Painting, firing & glazing (options on site): You decide what happens to your ceramic in a relaxed way on site:
- Raw state: You can take your works with you in their raw state free of charge.
- Engobe, color selection & stoneware glazes (double firing): In addition, we offer the engobe technique, in which you paint your finished clay works directly on site in a leather-hard state with our large selection of high-quality paints, engobes & stoneware glazes. After the engobe glaze, we will fire them twice for you (scrub brand/ biscuit brand+glaze fire) and process them with transparent glaze so that your works are waterproof, food safe and shiny. 🔥✨
5. 📦 Pick-up: After about 3-5 weeks, your fired ceramics are ready for collection. Please pick them up no later than 2 weeks after the first pick-up email, as our storage space is limited. On request, we can also find an individual pick-up date.
Refreshments (coffee, mineral water & organic wine) are provided. ☕🍷 From time to time, our dear senior golden retriever is also in the studio: =) 🐾
The course is perfect for beginners and advanced learners. No previous knowledge is required — everyone is welcome to experiment with sound. ✨
