About this class

Light, nature and experiment: create your own deep blue works of art with plants! Just try it out, relax and be creative — material is included. No previous experience is required.

What you’ll do in the class

In this cyanotype creative workshop, you will relax and dive into a special printing technique that combines plants, light and creativity.

After a short introduction, you will learn the basics of cyanotyping — without any previous knowledge. You can then choose from a variety of leaves, flowers and natural materials or bring your own plants. Step by step, you create your own motifs and illuminate them with sunlight.

When the prints are washed out, the typical bright blue effect is created — each work is unique! In between, there are design tips, space to try things out and time to exchange ideas.

In the end, you'll take home several homemade cyanotypes — perfect as a work of art, gift or creative reminder.

Who is the class suitable for?

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. For beginners and advanced users.
