About this class
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to upcycle their own clothes beautifully and sustainably. I will help you learn how to embellish your clothes and/or accessories with needle and thread and make them unique.
In this course, you'll learn:
- What are the best pieces of clothing to embroider
- Clamping the embroidery frame
- How to handle embroidery stickers
- 3 embroidery stitches for floral designs
- 2 embroidery stitches for motifs
- Finalize your embroidery, washing & cleaning tips

My small studio is located right on Friedenplätzchen near Lorettostraße in Düsseldorf Unterbilk. A really beautiful, urban area, which is also very worthwhile for browsing and shopping in the numerous owner-managed shops & boutiques. You can reach me in the backyard of Friedenstraße 36 - the house with the blue front door.
How to get there:
The studio is easily accessible by public transport and car. Set aside some time to find a parking space.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to the topic of “Embroidering clothes”
- Choosing an embroidery design
- Compilation of an individual color palette
- Basics of hand embroidery, clamping frames, dividing embroidery thread, etc.
- Learn 3 embroidery stitches for floral designs
- Learn 2 stitches for motifs
- Exchange in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly, creative people
Who is the class suitable for?
For anyone who would like to take a creative break. In a cozy atmosphere, you can embroider your clothes and/or accessories at your own pace and get in touch with nice people - ideal for girls' evenings or team events.
The workshop takes place in a small group of 6 to 12 people to ensure individual support.
