About this class
You can do a lot of things in the Open Ceramic Workshop. Together with your friends, you design a vessel yourself and then paint it in the color that you like. Whether it's a snack bowl or a new favorite cup with an animal, even if you've never done pottery before, you can implement all design ideas with our support. After completion, your work will remain in our workshop and can dry here. After drying, it goes into the kiln and is then coated with a glaze. After the next fire, your work is ready to be picked up and used.
What you’ll do in the class
The children and young people are guided step by step through the production of their own ceramic works. You don't need any basic knowledge or experience with the material. We then paint the works together. In the Open Ceramic Workshop, the works are further processed and fired so that the items are ready for collection after about 3 weeks.
Who is the class suitable for?
Children and adolescents over 5 years of age. No previous experience is required and no explicit creativity on the part of the children is required. We support every child at their own pace.
