What you’ll do in the class
In the construction process, we work without a potter's wheel. Cordula will assist you with questions, technical tricks and creative ideas.
- Welcome to the workshop
- If you like, you can stock up on tea and coffee
- After an introduction, you start your work
- You shape your work piece and implement your idea
- If necessary, we will support you every step of the way
- Depending on the size, your piece will dry for one to two weeks
- You can also work with engobes
- This is followed by the first fire, the scrubbing fire
- We will write to you when your workpiece is finished firing
- Book a new appointment for glazing
- Drying is followed by the second firing, the glaze firing
- Then you pick up your workpiece
Plan a total of around four to six weeks.
