About this class
Creative postcard workshop
In this analog creative workshop, your personal set of designed postcards is created. The course is aimed at everyone — regardless of previous experience — and invites you to explore new creative paths with curiosity.
We work experimentally with different materials and unconventional tools and deliberately leave room for chance and surprise. This often results in results that break away from the original plan and develop their very own expressive power.
The workshop is divided into three design fields: surface, pictorial motif and lettering. These are explored in practice — for example by marbling, stamping, collaging and freely combining various techniques. The basics of the composition, color and effect of design are incorporated in a playful way.
In an open and relaxed working atmosphere, there is plenty of room for exchange, mutual inspiration and overcoming creative barriers. The focus is not on “right” or “perfect,” but on discovering your own forms of visual expression and building creative confidence.
At the end, you take home a set of postcards you have created yourself — as a personal unique item, to give away or keep.
