About this experience

Inventor Rutger Babylon is about to complete a time travel machine — and he is clearly up to no good with it. Private investigator Sigbert Dümpel is overwhelmed by the case and turns to you: Find the last missing piece of the machine before it is too late. Your group accepts the assignment — and turns it into perhaps the most unforgettable JGA Berlin has ever seen.

The mission takes you through the heart of Berlin Mitte, past places that you know — and yet you've never really seen. From Gendarmenmarkt to Museum Island and Alexanderplatz to the TV Tower: Each station has its own story, its own character. In addition, you will learn how doner kebab really came to Berlin, what the legendary Spätis is all about and why the television tower is exactly as high as it is. Berlin explains itself here — but much more exciting than any city tour.

After each completed station, a JGA challenge awaits you, which is specially put together for your event — you choose between women's and men's JGA when booking. What to expect: Estimation questions about the bridal couple that make you see who was really paying attention. Photo challenges that are spontaneous and funny without anyone having to embarrass themselves. Quizzes with questions that bring the group together. And introductory games for anyone who hasn't been around that long. The challenges are designed so that everyone laughs along at the end — and not just the loudest.

That is exactly the core of this format: It is really fun for everyone. Not just the brave, not just those who know Berlin, not just those who have been around for a long time. Anyone who observes well, who thinks creatively, who asks the right questions — every person in the group has their moment. No one is put in a situation that she or he doesn't want to be in.

The start is at Gendarmenmarkt — directly accessible by U2, U5 or U6, just a few minutes' walk. The mission ends at Alexanderplatz, right in the heart of the city. From there, it's not a long way to bars and restaurants waiting for the evening.

How does this experience take place?

After booking, you will receive your personal login details and all information for the day within 24 hours. No download, no preparation required.

At the Gendarmenmarkt meeting point, the group starts together: Open the app, start the mission. The rally takes you as a group through Berlin Mitte — solve puzzles, discover the city, and after each stop, a JGA challenge that suits the occasion and the group. Estimation questions about the bridal couple, photo challenges, quiz rounds, introductory games — always appropriate, never unpleasant.

You set the pace yourself. The mission usually takes 2 to 3 hours. At the destination, Alexanderplatz, everyone meets again — in the middle of Berlin, with the entire city as a backdrop. From there, it's just a short walk to bars and restaurants for the evening.

In case of bad weather, the appointment can be rescheduled free of charge — without stress, at no extra charge.

Who is it suitable for

This experience is made for JGA groups of 4 to 25 people — whether women's or men's penitentiaries. No previous knowledge, no sporting requirements, no preparation required: just arrive and get started.

The mix of city rally and JGA challenges works for groups that have known each other for years as well as for those where a few new people have joined. No one is put in an unpleasant situation — the tasks are designed in such a way that they involve everyone and do not embarrass anyone.

Anyone who knows Berlin well will still be surprised: The route leads to details and stories that even locals don't know. If you're in the city for the first time, you'll experience Berlin in a way that no travel guide can offer — with a mission that you won't soon forget.
