About this class
For many years, the WeinWohnzimmer has stood for selected French wines from small wineries. During the local wine tastings in an unusual atmosphere, you will learn a lot about wine — accompanied by a short quiz, the evening will be enjoyable and entertaining.
Our tastings, each with 6 wines, are accompanied by a creative flying buffet. You will experience a relaxed, entertaining and enjoyable evening. You will learn a lot about French wine, the different growing areas, grape varieties and growing methods. The holiday destination France, its culture and way of life are also in focus — with tips on special travel destinations and holiday experiences off the typical tourist trails.
What is the process?
Just before Christmas, it can only be the crème de la crème — this evening, together with us, you will taste top drops from different regions: from fine Bordeaux to the top cuvée in Roussillon to the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
You will learn a lot about grape varieties, French viticulture and its hierarchy, sensors and viticulture techniques. We also serve French delicacies from our unique Provençal market with each of the 6 selected drops.
What you’ll do in the class
Around our cozy tasting table, we discover 6 different wines from wine country No. 1, France in a relaxed atmosphere. We serve you a flying buffet with every wine so that you can enjoy the perfect combination. All wines are presented and discussed — there are many stories and anecdotes about the winemakers, the holiday destination France, information about viticulture and grape varieties and much more.
