About this class

Discover the colorful world of expressionist portrait painting and how much creativity you have.

Together, we dive into the colorful and emotional imagery of expressionism. Inspired by artists like Alexej von Jawlensky, you'll learn to see and represent faces in a whole new way. Instead of realistic images, the focus is on emotion, color and personality. We paint with bright acrylic paints on canvas. Step by step, I'll show you how to develop your individual, expressive portrait — from the first sketch to the finished canvas. I will guide you through the entire process in a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

In the end, you will hold your personal work of art in your hands and take home lots of inspiration and joy in creative work.
