About this class
In this creative workshop, participants create their own personal terrazzo pieces such as decorative bowls, coasters or small objects. After a brief introduction to materials, technology and design options, everyone puts together their own color combination and terrazzo chips. If you want, you can also bring your own small parts or everyday scraps (e.g. colorful films, lids, packaging or found objects) and upcycle them — for a particularly sustainable and individual result. Step by step, unique design pieces are created under guidance — each one unique!
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to terrazzo technology
- Selection of colors, materials & (brought along) found objects
- Casting and designing the workpieces
- Post-processing and surface finishing
At the end of the workshop, everyone takes home two finished terrazzo pieces — perfect as a decorative bowl, trivet or simply as a stylish decorative element.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is particularly suitable for closed groups such as birthday parties or bachelor parties — especially for anyone who likes to be creative.
