About this class
In our Discofox workshops, you will learn the basics or deepen your knowledge of popular ballroom dancing. For beginners, we show the basic steps, turns and figures step by step, while advanced learners improve their technique and leadership. Each workshop offers practical tips for dancing in a relaxed way and gliding elegantly across the floor. Registration is required.
What you’ll do in the class
- Introduction to basic steps (beginners)/Refresher & technique (advanced)
You will learn the most important Discofox steps, turns and figures, adapted to your level. - Step-by-step instructions
Each movement is slowly demonstrated, explained and practiced together. - Exercises for rhythm, leadership & harmony as a dance couple
The focus is on timing, coordination and smooth movement in a couple. - Combining the elements into short dance sequences At
the end of the workshop, you will dance the learned figures together as a small sequence.

- Dancers with previous knowledge: Anyone who already knows how to dance Discofox and wants to deepen their technique.
