About this experience
A sealed box is discovered in the attic of an old town house — in it a weathered letter, a rough map and a mystery promise: “Whoever recognizes the signs will find what was once hidden in a storm.” Since Kiel was once a notorious retreat for privateers, it is clear that a real pirate legacy awaits here. Your mission as a team: Pick up the trail, decipher the nautical clues and find out where the treasure is hidden in the fjord.
Your investigation will take you to the most exciting places in Kiel. From the old fleet base to the castle garden to the opera house — logical challenges await you everywhere. You solve telescope puzzles with fjord views at the Botanic Garden, crack secret codes at the Kunsthalle and experience the big showdown at Kleiner Kiel. You will get to know the city from a completely new side: Did you know that Kiel was once thrown out of the Hanseatic League because it offered pirate protection?
We've developed this experience specifically for corporate teams. On request, we can integrate your individual questions about the company or colleagues directly into the storyline and customize the app with your company logo and corporate colors. In the integrated competition mode, you can split up and use live team tracking to see who has the best instinct — that provides real motivation.

You start off relaxed and centrally on the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament. After around two hours of exciting investigative work, your tour comes to an end at Warleberger Hof — the perfect place to round off the team event with a meal together.
How does this experience take place?
Immediately after booking, you will receive all login details and advance information via email. On the selected match day, you will meet at the starting point before the state parliament. There is no strict schedule — you start the event flexibly as soon as the whole team is ready.
On site, you split into small groups and call up the link on your smartphones. There is no need to download an app. If you want, activate competition mode and compete against each other in live tracking.
The interactive web app navigates you from station to station through Kiel for the next approximately 2 hours. Together, you will decode clues, collect points and learn exciting facts. At Warleberger Hof, the game ends with the final evaluation, in which you can choose the winning team. Should real North German “bad weather” arise, you can postpone the event free of charge at any time.
