About this class
We’re hosting a series of creative and practical music workshops designed for aspiring artists, performers, and music lovers. Each session focuses on a key aspect of the music journey – from writing Your first song to sharing it with the world. Afterwards there is going to be an Open Jam Session for everyone.
Sept 29 – Creative Songwriting
Learn how to capture ideas, craft lyrics, and shape melodies into full songs.
Throughout this series, we’ll explore both the creative side of music-making and the practical foundations of the music industry. You’ll gain insights into how to develop Your own style, collaborate with others, and eventually bring Your music to a wider audience in a professional way.
Whether You’re a beginner taking Your first steps or an emerging artist looking to grow, these workshops will give You the tools, inspiration, and community You need to take Your music further.
What you’ll do in the class
Ablaufplan – Creative Songwriting (1h)
1. Introduction & Warm-Up (10 min)
Kurze Begrüßung + Ablauf erklären
Mini-Kennenlernrunde (Name + Lieblingssong)
Kreatives Warm-Up: z. B. alle schreiben spontan 3 Wörter auf, die sie inspirieren
2. Songwriting Basics & Idea Generation (15 min)
Kurzer Input: Wo starten Songs? (Text, Akkord, Hook)
Übung: Jeder wählt ein Thema / Gefühl und notiert 2–3 Zeilen Text oder eine Hook-Idee
3. Writing & Topline Development (25 min)
In Kleingruppen oder allein: Text + erste Melodie entwickeln
Dozent*in geht herum, gibt Feedback
Fokus: 1 kleine Songskizze (z. B. Verse + Hook) in kurzer Zeit
4. Sharing & Jam Session (10 min)
Wer möchte, präsentiert kurz die eigene Idee (singen, spielen, vorlesen)
Offenes Jammen: Andere steigen mit Instrument oder Stimme ein
Abschlussrunde: kurze Motivation, die Ideen weiterzuentwickeln
