The baguette, in French correctly “la baguette — i.e. the baguette”, is considered the epitome of French bread culture. The national symbol is the elongated, crispy wheat bread, which is characterized by the unevenly large portion of the crumb and the exceptionally splintered, resche crust, as well as a unique aroma.
This workshop shows how outstanding baguettes can be baked in a household oven. A lot of attention is paid in this course to the use of wheat sourdoughs and benefits, the maturation of the dough in the refrigerator, and the correct processing technique.
