An artistic break for you: Get out of the routine of everyday life, enjoy valuable time for yourself and be inspired to awaken creative resources in yourself!
As a professional artist with many years of teaching experience (including at the Berlin University of Arts), I accompany your artistic processes and support you on your artistic journey of discovery. The respective materials and techniques can be selected individually, but there are main topics per week.
Key topics:
02.03. - 08.03.2025: painting, collage, textile (acrylic, gouache, textiles)
31.03. - 06.04.2025: sculpture (wood, clay, metal)
21.09. - 27.09.2025: painting by the sea, painting technique (gouache, watercolor, oil)
17.11. - 23.11.2025: drawing, printing techniques (charcoal, various crayons, monotypes, linography)
How does this activity work?
- Welcome drink and introduction to the program
- 5-day art course: 4 hours a day (group or individual lessons), main topics depending on the week
- Free work in the studio in the afternoon
- Final discussion and creative reflection
Who should definitely take part?
The retreat is ideal for creative beginners as well as experienced artists who want to be inspired. It is aimed at anyone who wants to discover and develop their artistic side.

What to bring?
Everything you need for a 5-day overnight stay, etc. Everything you need for the courses themselves is provided or can be purchased on site.
What is included?
- welcome drink
- 5 day art course (4 hours each)
- 1x sauna or campfire evening
- Materials: acrylic paints (pigments and binders), charcoal, graphite, chalks, gouache, paper, clay, pallets, brushes, clipboards, painting walls and paper, wood, clay
- Use of studio and creative work space for free work
You can also purchase on site: watercolors, watercolor pencils, watercolor paper, oil paints, oil crayons, canvases.
Accommodation and breakfast (also vegetarian/vegan) can be booked directly in Art.Quartier, lunch & evening can be cooked independently in groups in the kitchens or hot food can be booked as well.
Car transfer to the nearest train station (Velgast) is possible by appointment.
