City tour in and around Stuttgart: Discover the beauty of the Swabian metropolis
Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, is a city full of charm, history and culture. With a guided city tour, you will experience the highlights of this fascinating metropolis in a unique and unforgettable way. Let me, Anselm Vogt-Moykopf, a city guide with more than 30 years of experience, guide you through the city and learn everything about the exciting history, impressive architecture and lively culture that make Stuttgart so special. With its location in a “cauldron”, Stuttgart is unique as a major city in Germany and therefore there are many special features that cannot be seen anywhere else.
We would be happy to plan your tour together. It is important to me what you are interested in and what you want to know about Stuttgart. I could explain to you the diverse architecture of Castle Square, where all styles of architecture can be seen! If you are a car enthusiast, I'll show you where Gottlieb Daimler built the first internal combustion engine with Wilhelm Maybach, or where Ferdinand Porsche invented and built the “KDF Beetle.” As an alternative to the television tower, I'll show you the most beautiful viewpoints, which have at least 20 around Stuttgart!
Many other tours on the program: From southern Germany to Alsace
In addition to the classic city tour in Stuttgart, I also offer a number of other exciting tours: How about a trip to the picturesque Black Forest to the Vogtsbauernhof, a unique open-air museum “you can touch”, or in the immediate vicinity the Dorotheenhütte, the only crystal glass factory in the Black Forest where you can make a glass yourself! Then we drive to the Höhengasthaus “Landwassereck”, where they have the “best sausage salad with the best view” (or salad without sausage)... or I'll show you the best palaces and castles in the region, from Lichtenstein Castle to Hohenzollernburg with all the appropriate stories and ghosts!
For wine lovers and foodies, a trip to Alsace, a region known for its first-class wines and charming villages, could be an unforgettable experience. Combined with the Isenheim Altarpiece in the Unterlinden Museum in Colmar, it would be a perfect day!
No matter which tour you choose, I guarantee you a unique experience, during which you will not only get to know the beauty and diversity of the region, but also learn many interesting stories and facts about the places and their inhabitants. As a multilingual guide (German, English, French and Spanish), I make sure that you feel comfortable in your preferred language and can enjoy the tour to the fullest. I offer all tours for up to 7 people.
Come on a journey through Stuttgart and the surrounding area and be enchanted by the many facets of this unique region! I'm looking forward to showing you the best parts of this area.
