With our cooking classes, we want to make the vivid flavors and cultural diversity of Sri Lankan cuisine come alive. Our goal is to mentally transport you to Sri Lanka through taste, rituals and cooking together — for an intensive, unforgettable culinary experience. We believe that everyone can feel the joy, lightness and good vibes that arise when Sri Lankan food is prepared together.
We are Nischi and Dasi.
Dasi comes from Sri Lanka, Nischi was born in Germany and has Sri Lankan roots. Our common love is Sri Lankan cuisine — but we have rarely experienced it authentically for a long time.
So we learned our families' traditional cooking techniques ourselves, experimented a lot and found ways to create authentic Sri Lankan flavor using ingredients from local supermarkets.
Today, we share our passion — and a piece of Sri Lanka — in our cooking classes.
We currently offer completely vegan Sri Lankan cooking classes in Munich, ideal for beginners — everyone is welcome. In each course, we prepare 5 to 7 dishes together, supplemented by two different types of rice and roti. You'll learn authentic Sri Lankan flavors and cooking techniques in a relaxed, personal atmosphere.
